Ātman Journal

Ātman Journal is an independent cultural magazine, born from the desire of two young people from Lucca to carve out an authentic space for themselves in a world suffocated by the noise of capitalism, the cultural industry, and fragmented information.

With this first paper issue, Ātman Journal brings together the best of two years of visual and narrative research, marking a crucial stage in the transition from digital to print.
Through photography and writing, complementary arts, the magazine offers an interdisciplinary and holistic perspective on social phenomena, from Italian suburbs to global conflicts.
The project was born from the need to rebuild an authentic bond with readers, reawakening that "sense of unity" that Greek tragedy, according to Nietzsche, could bring out.
With this publication, Ātman Journal renews an ancient cultural pact: restoring meaning to knowledge and trust in the word.
