WHAT IS MAG TO MAG
Mag To Mag is the event conceived and organized by Frab's Magazines where the world of niche and collectible magazines from all over the world connects. It talks, shares, finds new tools, new paths and possibilities, joins forces and realizes its beauty.
After the success of the first edition held in 2023, we arrive at the second edition with the same mission: to collect the many energies, ideas, turbulences, that gravitate in this small niche of paper lovers and create new synergies, amplifying the sound of paper and the clean noise it can make.
With a strong international footprint, Mag To Mag was born to exchange opinions and views, to get to know each other, but above all to give the independent magazine sector practical and concrete tools to grow and become a reality that can go beyond the shell of the small niche.
WHERE AND WHEN
The second edition of Mag To Mag will be held on 14 and 15 September 2024 in Milan at Lampo (ex Scalo Farini area) . Access to the market and main talk is completely free .

WHO WE ARE
Mag To Mag is the international festival dedicated exclusively to niche magazines, organized by Frab's Magazines & More .
Frab's is the Italian reality that deals with the selection and culture of niche magazines. Born in 2019 in Forlì with an online shop (frabsmagazines.com), today we have a shop in Forlì, we manage the selection of magazines of the Roman gallery Contemporary Cluster and in February 2024 we inaugurated our Milanese store .
Frab's was born with the mission of creating a culture of independent magazines in a country like Italy still tied to the idea of periodical publishing as meaningless mainstream magazines. In addition to sales, in fact, our activities in spreading the culture of independent magazines are many. We organize the How To Make a Magazine course, which trains aspiring and new publishers on how to create a magazine, we disseminate content about magazines every day through our social channels, we make reviews of the main magazines, we organize and participate in conferences and talks on the world of periodical publishing.
Frab's is a project conceived and created by me, Anna Frabotta , journalist and fashion publishing teacher, passionate about publishing since I was a child. After years spent editing some territorial marketing magazines, I opened Frab's Magazines together with my partner Dario in 2019 with the specific intent of bringing to Italy the culture of the independent magazine much more widespread and developed in other European countries.
In these years of activity I have known and met an environment very rich in stimuli and people capable of creating real editorial masterpieces, from editors to authors, to graphic designers. I have visited fairs in Italy and abroad and understood the enormous communicative potential that independent magazines bring with them.
What is often missing are the right contacts and knowledge on how to publicize, communicate and sell such delicate products as magazines, to allow them to continue their journey. So, I tried to create that event. Here is the Mag To Mag.
