Cineforum Rivista , since 1961, has been an essential point of reference for those who want to know everything about the Seventh Art: a tool for critical reflection that starts from current events to touch on genres, trends, authors of international cinema, without forgetting TV series and everything that passes on the web and in streaming.
Today, with Nuova Serie , it is also a beautiful editorial object: for those who believe in the smell , the physicality and the quality of reading time spent on paper .
Cineforum Rivista , published since 1961 by FIC – Federazione Italiana Cineforum , is one of the most appreciated film criticism and culture magazines in the Italian and international scene. Forced to go on stand-by (theaters closed, productions stopped…), from December 2020 it is renewed with a new “paper and web” editorial project , entrusted to the leadership of Emanuela Martini (editor in chief). The paper magazine returns to being published as a quarterly Nuova Serie with four issues per year.
In terms of content, Cineforum presents itself as unique in the Italian panorama of specialized press. Each issue of the magazine is like a book with many voices , with a high level of writing and analysis; the signatures are those of the best names in contemporary film criticism.
