Julia Quintabà
I was born in 1979, the same year three of my favorite movies were released: Manhattan, Quadrophenia and Nosferatu the Prince of Night. I spent the 90s worshiping Winona Ryder, watching movies, listening to indie music in my bedroom, flipping through movie magazines and collecting VHS tapes.
In 2006 I graduated in Filmology at the University of Bologna with the thesis "Alice through the screen", where I analyzed the relationship between Lewis Carroll's book "Alice in Wonderland" and its film adaptations. I then moved for a few years in Milan, where I work in the fashion world.I start collaborating with various independent magazines and sites that deal with cinema and music and I create my personal blog of film criticism.
Since 2019 I have been responsible for communication and some reviews of the Cinema Eliseo in Cesena, my hometown. Today I love sharing my passions through my instagram profile @julietvampire. Since 2021 I have been following the Venice Film Festival for Grazia magazine.
