How to Dress a Building

How to Dress a Building is an editorial project born between Bielefeld and Voghera in 2017, which blends sustainable fashion and architecture in a fresh and ironic visual narrative. The magazine imagines what would happen if buildings could "dress themselves," dressing supermarkets, factories, buildings, and even landfills in carefully selected secondhand outfits.

Each double-page spread stages a dialogue between architectural form and style, accompanied by short fashion tips that play with the aesthetics of suburban urbanity.

The goal is to lightly reflect on creative reuse, promoting low-impact fashion: each look, in fact, was put together with a maximum budget of 5 euros, excluding shoes and accessories, which were often found at flea markets.

How to Dress a Building is aimed at visual dreamers and is intended as the first chapter in a future series of annual publications, open to cross-disciplinary collaborations.

More than just a magazine, it is a celebration of imagination, capable of reinventing urban spaces through a playful and sustainable lens.
