Metal and Cement

Metallo e Cemento is a project born in 2021 as a tribute to Hip Hop culture, with a particular focus on Writing, one of the four fundamental disciplines of the movement.

This narrative journey, through images, words, and sounds, explores the contradictions and transformations of an ever-evolving tradition. Using diverse media, the initiative aims to explore Hip Hop culture in all its complexity and richness.

The magazine offers original content, including unpublished photographs and interviews with protagonists of the international graffiti scene.

Among the magazine's main goals is the desire to create inclusive spaces for exchange and growth for artists, writers, and local communities. To date, the magazine has published six issues and organized numerous events involving hundreds of participants, becoming a point of reference for hip hop culture in Italy.

The events promoted are not aimed solely at enthusiasts and the Hip Hop community, but also involve families, young people, and residents, contributing to the enhancement of public spaces.

Based in Milan, Metallo e Cemento combines urban culture, art, independent publishing, and social commitment, establishing itself as an original and nationally recognized cultural initiative.
