TRANSCRIPT

TRANSCRIPT is a seasonal magazine that collects literary essays, short stories, poems, and visual contributions.

The project was born from the desire to create a written and visual testimony of reality, to capture what was said, seen, or simply intuited, and return it in the form of an echo.
TRANSCRIPT presents itself as a sensitive archive, capable of retaining fragments of meaning and transforming them into lasting signs.

As George Perec wrote in "Species of Spaces" (1973), writing means "to try meticulously to retain something, to make something survive; to tear some precise shred from the growing void, to leave somewhere a furrow, a trace, a sign or some clue."
And this is precisely the profound intent of the magazine: to mark, remember, bear witness.
