VEC

VEC is an editorial project born in 2017, at least according to the official version.

Initially conceived as an idea and then as a newsletter, VEC slowly took shape until it sublimated into a real cultural project.

VEC is not a thematic magazine: each issue is born from a collective brainstorming process, where members of the VEC Collective select topics that reflect their worldview, seeking a balance between irony and in-depth analysis.

Defining what VEC is is not simple: it could be compared to the approach of negative theology, according to which through the negation of defined attributes, it attempts to describe something profound and complex.

At the heart of it all is the idea that VEC is, first and foremost, a way of life, an attitude that transforms over time and changes with those who inhabit it.

Change, in fact, is not only accepted, but considered essential: what seems certain today could take on new forms tomorrow, and in this constant movement lies the strength of the project.

VEC was born by subtraction, rejecting the urgency and logic imposed by contemporary immediacy, to become a creative space, where thoughts can settle and find expression without haste.

Inspired by the spirit of punk in its intentions and jazz in its results, VEC manages to maintain an ever-attentive and unconventional outlook, positioning itself as a place of encounter and not conflict, where dialogue is welcome.

VEC is not an antithesis, but a synthesis: alive, open, imperfect, and for this very reason authentic.
